A sweet wedding at Pomme Radnor is right up our alley any time of the year, but especially so in the fall! Because of its wooded location, an autumn wedding at Pomme Radnor means dappled golden light and warm tones surrounding guests in the intimate indoor/outdoor setting. Pomme Radnor is a favorite venue of ours in general because of its close proximity to Philadelphia without any of the congestion of downtown. Plus it’s got THE best catering team cranking out delicious and creatively bold food in this serene setting!!

Becky and George were yet another couple that had to re-imagine everything for their 2020 wedding, including the venue. Originally set to have a destination wedding that proved impossible due to Covid concerns, Becky and George instead opted for holding their wedding at Pomme Radnor with a very short runway for planning (just two months!). With a few simple email exchanges, we were able to provide this sweet couple with beautiful (and sustainable!) flowers for an early October celebration with their nearest and dearest gathered in the garden at Pomme Radnor.
After putting her heart into the original destination wedding plan, Becky chose to use our popular Prix Fixe Package because it would make planning quick and simple the second time around. Couples using our Prix Fixe option always have to put a little extra trust in us since they do not get to choose specific color palettes or other details. However, like always, everything was serendipitously a perfect match! The lush bridal bouquet full of creamy dahlias, blush lisianthus and other seasonal blooms in soft antique tones perfectly matched Becky’s vintage-inspired beaded gown! The burgundy velvet dresses worn by the bridesmaids couldn’t have been a better pairing for the bouquets they carried.
The existing arbor in the garden was the perfect backdrop for this wedding at Pomme Radnor, particularly when it was decorated with lush floral gatherings and two large urn arrangements to create an extra special focal area for George and Becky to say their long awaited vows.
For the reception under the tent, tables were set with centerpieces in a gold vase and gold mercury votives for a romantic glow in the autumn twilight. The fragrant centerpieces featured dahlias, lisanthus, cosmos, autumn anemones, eucalyptus, plectranthus, caryopteris, zinnias, gomphrena, sweet annie, and lavender foliage.
We are so thrilled that Becky and George were able to say “I do” and lean in to their love in a year full of so many challenges! And we are grateful that they chose to use our farm’s sustainably-grown flowers to celebrate their union! Congrats you two!!!
