Playing a little catch-up here with the out-takes from this past week’s arrangement for The Seasonal Bouquet Project. I picked the first four canary yellow ‘Dick Wilden’ daffodils and a handful of plum Le Belle ranunculus to finally add a little color to these spring editions of the SBP. The field has burst into bloom at last when a couple of days this week shot up into the 80s. We’re a full month behind last season with bloom times so it’s nice to feel like we’re off to the races finally. Fingers crossed, we might even have tulips next week!

Hi Jennie, what are the white flowers in the first picture with the drooping/curling petals?
Jessica – those are magnolia blooms. Star magnolia to be exact.
