A Morris Arboretum wedding is always especially sweet for us since our flower farm is located a mere four and half miles away. And Morris Arboretum’s bucolic rolling hills full of beautiful flower gardens and statuesque trees are a perfect match for our sustainably-grown blooms and garden-inspired bouquets. When Melissa and Kyle decided to hire us for their late September Morris Arboretum wedding, we were truly delighted!
Melissa and Kyle chose to use our Prix Fixe Package option, trusting us to choose the very best blooms from our farm to decorate their Morris Arboretum wedding. They opted for the neutral palette of green and white and a wilder and unstructured style full of texture; perfect for autumn nuptials amongst towering trees!
Melissa’s earthy elegant bridal bouquet for her Morris Arboretum wedding was full of just-picked blooms and foliage from our Philadelphia farm, including dahlias, lisianthus, zinnias, strawflowers, hydrangeas, eucalyptus, fragrant herbs, berries, and more. Melissa also wore a bespoke bridal hair crown made with fresh lisianthus, yarrow, strawflowers, feverfew, gomphrena, and eucalyptus. It suited her bubbly personality perfectly!
Melissa and Kyle were married in front of our custom wooden arch with fresh floral gatherings on the corners. They also chose to have garland encircle the arch and trail down the banisters of the steps in the iconic rose garden, a favorite ceremony location for many a Morris Arboretum wedding.
The reception was in the tent, which had been made extra cozy with ceiling draping and lighting by our friends at Wild Stems. We designed lush floral centerpieces in gold cylinders for each guest table. The long head table was decorated to be ultra romantic with lush garland and lots of candles down the center.
