I’m a bit rusty after several months away from my “big girl camera” and the general idea of making a floral design just for fun and without any client-conceived parameters. Didn’t help that it was windy and cold outside, feeling much more like March than late April. But despite the bumps, it’s great to be back in the groove of Backyard Bouquets, a seasonal snapshot of what’s in bloom at the farm on a (semi)weekly basis. Join in the fun and see what’s in bloom around the globe by following the hashtag #backyardbouquets on Instagram!
This week’s arrangement featured: hellebores, narcissus, tulips, ranunculus, anemones, pear branches, bleeding heart, dogwood and fritillaria.
Oh, lovely! Your backyard has more blooms in it, but I’m guessing I’m a little warmer so I have more color. Here’s mine from this past week with tulips, hyacinths, muscari, pear blossoms and budding twigs.
