I’m delighted to announce the winner of our Love ‘n Fresh Flowers scholarship for our Weddings Master Class this coming June! Emily Henry of Chickadee Hill Flower in Bar Harbor, Maine blew me away with her design talent and heartfelt essay. I can’t wait to meet her in a few months and help her grow her farmer florist operation!

There was over 110 applications from four countries. I had such a tough time deciding on who was “the most deserving”. There were dozens of passionate women who could all benefit tremendously from the experience of attending one of our Master Classes, each poised at a perfect jumping off point to grow their flower business into the success they’ve dreamed it would be! I sooooo wish I could give away several scholarships, but I want these classes to be intimate and focused with students committed to investing in themselves and their dreams. So, alas, I could only pick one winner. Perhaps next spring we’ll do it again for the 2016 Master Class session.
If you applied for the scholarship or if you’ve just learned about it and are eager to attend, we have only a few seats left in all three classes so go grab one while you can! We only host one set of these classes each spring. We do not have them later in summer and fall as I’m much too busy with our intensive wedding work at that point to do any mentoring/teaching.
