“Speak your intentions, and they become clear. Say it, and you’re committed.”
Maybe I made that up. Or maybe I read it in a fortune cookie or motivational book somewhere. I’m not sure. Doesn’t matter.
It’s time to say what I mean to do. I’ve been working at it for several years now, tiptoeing a bit around the heart of the matter, for fear of ridicule or making waves. Time to get blunt:
“I’m out to change the floral industry, Lovelies. The whole kit and caboodle!”
I want to topple a giant global industrial machine and bring floristry back to the hand-wrought cottage commerce it once was. And should be. Small farms tied to nearby retail shops and floral art studios that sell their blooms with a real knowledge of their origin and seasons.
There. I’ve said it.
Now go read this!
yeeessssss!!!
Sounds great! Do it! I try t grow a little just to make my bouquets look more unusual and special. I really enjoy growing and using my flowers. Hoping to grow more this summer.
We need t o saturate the internet with beautiful pictures of what flowers should look like and not the FTD’s expectation that people think is the norm. Brides will see it and say “YES!” that’s what I want for my wedding. Keep posting.
