Love ‘n Fresh Flowers provides several unique services to Philadelphia area weddings, including those interested in DIY-ing their flowers. Since we are first and foremost a flower farm and not just a traditional florist, we love DIY events. Whether it’s because of budget constraints or because you’re the type that loves to create all the special touches yourself, Love ‘n Fresh can help. Combine a bulk order with our A La Carte design services if you’re worried about getting everything done yourself and/or want a more professional look for the bouquets and boutonnieres.

What is the DIY Bulk Botanicals option?
Our DIY Bulk Botanicals is a way to order fresh cut flowers and foliage in bulk for bouquets, table decor, etc.  All are grown by Love ‘n Fresh Flowers right here in Philadelphia, and all are subject to seasonal availability. We will do our best to accommodate desired colors and flowers, but we are unable to guarantee them. No matter what the season, you can be assured that you’re getting the freshest, most vibrant, organic and seasonal flowers and plants around!

DIY Bulk Botanicals are sold by the bucket.  Each bucket will contain 75-85 stems of coordinating focal and filler flowers, as well as greenery. The selection of stems will be well-suited for bridesmaid bouquets and centerpieces in particular. One bucket provides enough flowers for approximately three bridesmaid bouquets OR six small centerpieces OR 25 bud vases.

​We have two options for DIY Bulk Botanicals:

Option 1: Grower’s Choice $120/bucket
Your buckets will contain a complimentary assortment of flowers and foliage, thoughtfully selected from the freshest and most beautiful seasonal items.  We, the growers, will have complete choice of what colors go into the buckets. 

​Option 2: Choose Your Hues $160/bucket
You may select from one of three palettes: 1) soft & muted, 2) vibrant & bright or 3) rich & saturated. Once you select your hues, we will provide a well-coordinated assortment of stems in your chosen palette.

​There is a 3 bucket minimum for orders.  Orders can be placed up to six months in advance.  A contract and a deposit are required.

​We would be delighted to design a bridal bouquet for you and also any small wearable flowers such as boutonnieres and corsages if you’d like. We would create them to coordinate with your selection of bulk flowers. At the time of inquiry about bulk flowers, please let us know if you’d like us to design a bridal bouquet or boutonnieres and corsages for you. 

Please note that no specific flowers are guaranteed; availability is always subject to Mother Nature’s whims. Couples choosing to use Bulk Botanicals should be very flexible with their vision and open to a rainbow of colors. We have many very happy DIY couples who simply envisioned a “cottage garden” vibe.

Love ‘n Fresh does not provide any consultations for couples who are using our Bulk Botanicals option. Reservations and ordering all take place electronically. DIY Wedding Floral Boot Camp

Are you getting married and considering doing your own wedding flowers?  Perhaps you’re the a lucky mom or best friend who has been put in charge of doing the flowers for an upcoming wedding.  DIY wedding flowers are fun, but also usually more complicated and stressful than anticipated.  Come to this workshop to make sure you’re totally prepared for “show time”!   Jennie, owner and lead designer of Love ‘n Fresh, leads this intensive three hour workshop, demonstrating all the basic techniques you’ll need to know to create your various wedding floral pieces, including boutonnieres, hair flowers, a large ceremony urn, and centerpieces. Pointers for choosing the right seasonal blooms, storing and transporting the flowers, and a task timeline for getting it all done are discussed. The first two hours of the workshop will be spent in a classroom setting with Jennie demonstrating techniques and presenting invaluable information.  The last hour will be “play time” for attendees to practice what they’ve learned using our farm’s just-picked flowers.  Students will receive gentle and constructive feedback from Jennie so they can feel confident moving forward with DIY-ing on the Big Day.  Once the date for this boot camp is determined for each year, the details and date will be listed in our Floral FUNdamentals workshop schedule here.
