Our Story

Named one of the Top 62 Floral Designers in the nation by Martha Stewart Wedding’s magazine.

Love ‘n Fresh Flowers is a five-acre, sustainably-managed, urban flower farm located in historical Philadelphia. Since 2009, Love ‘n Fresh has been dedicated to working with locally grown flowers, foliage, grasses, seed pods, fruits and even vegetables to create our signature earthy elegant floral art.

We provide lush, signature florals for weddings and other special events, offering everything from eye-catching elegant bridal bouquets and matching bespoke boutonnieres to unique nature-inspired ceremony and reception decor, using only the flowers we grow here at the farm. Be it a large wedding or simply a sweet bouquet for an elopement, Love ‘n Fresh manages the whole creative process from seed to centerpiece. The results are unarguably distinctive and fresh.

Love ‘n Fresh Flowers is also a teaching farm.  Each season we host over twenty fun and informative workshop and field days for flower lovers. Our beautiful farm and kind, welcoming team create the perfect environment to explore the art for floral design and hone critical skills for flower farming.  Workshops and field days are offered for all skill and interest levels and cover a diverse array of topics.  Learn more about those here. 

Love ‘n Fresh Flowers grows outstanding and usual stems and makes those available to other florist in the Philly area through the Philadelphia Floral Guild, a wholesale hub for buying local flowers.  

Jennie Love, owner and Creative Director of Love ‘n Fresh Flowers, is the passionate and creative driving force behind this little flower enterprise. Trained both as a horticulturalist and floral designer at Longwood Gardens and a life-long farmer, she loves educating everyone who will listen about the special beauty and value of locally grown flowers.  She also loves taking a client’s vision, be it vague or detailed, and bringing it to vivid life.  Her work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and many other notable publications.
