The mornings are cool once again. The sun golden and warm as it rises later each day. It’s a little harder to get out of bed in the mornings now that the blankets are back on and it’s so snuggly under them. The growing season at the farm is decidedly winding down. The finish line is in sight with frost likely just a month away.
But while the farm slows down as autumn approaches, the wedding side of our business goes into overdrive! Traditionally the spring was the most popular season for weddings, but that has all changed in the past few years as more and more couples decide to have outdoor weddings. The spring is rainy and unpredictable. Autumn is more mellow and the natural beauty of the leaves changing makes outdoor affairs spectacular. Seasonal, local flowers also happen to be especially amazing in the fall so it’s no surprise that late August through late October are the busiest time for Love ‘n Fresh weddings.
Eventually, in the winter, I’ll do individual posts for some of the extra special weddings we’re doing in this busy season. For the time being, here’s an assortment of pretty pictures to keep you up to speed.
