The moment Lindsay and Tim walked in the studio door for their first consultation, I knew I was going to adore them. Lindsay has the most infectious smile and energy. Tim’s got a great sense of humor and such a warm personality. And they clearly adore each other. Not to mention they were super committed to using small local businesses to make their big day extra special.

Like so often happens with Love ‘n Fresh clients, we became friends over the months of planning. Lindsay even wrote an awesome article on the farm back in the spring! So, by the time the wedding rolled around on 9.21.13, I was giddy with anticipation. Using an abundance of billowy dahlias, cheerful zinnias, cute gomphrena and other September blooms, we created a romantic, vintage vibe with just a touch of rustic at lovely Pomme in Radnor. I just have to say how much I love this venue! It’s the perfect size: intimate but not crowded. It’s got the perfect interior design: lovely, thoughtful, but completely flexible so you can make it modern, vintage, rustic, or whatever your heart’s desire. It’s got an amazing staff: Peachtree & Ward really know how to treat their clients (and us vendors)! And it comes with a pair of real live swans paddling about the pond out front! Swans!!

Lindsay and Tim chose to get married beside the pond, and we built a rustic arbor for the focal point at the end of the aisle. Their color palette of creams, soft orange, soft pink, peach and green were the perfect compliment to the natural autumn landscape that surrounded their nuptials. Inside, we decked out the reception space with heaps of small, relaxed designs on a mix of long and round tables.
